The Duo Azzurro standing globes are an elegant product from the house of Columbus. They can be used both illuminated and unilluminated. When unlit, you can admire the deep blue of the oceans. When illuminated, the map reveals an astonishingly detailed seabed structure, depicting varying depths, volcanoes and ocean basins. In addition, when unlit the globe shows a political map, whereas when used illuminated it shows a physical map.

The continents, too, are framed with radiant blue vignettes that make the overall appearance even more elegant and appealing. But these fascinating effects are not seen only in the sea, on land you also notice the harmoniously color-coordinated countries and borders of the world, which, when lit, display vivid, almost three-dimensional mountains and valleys.
